BIO and Work

My name is Jackson Mealman and I am a senior in at Olathe Northwest. I am a going to Pittsburgh State University next fall to study sports broadcasting. I have experience Broadcasting games at Olathe Northwest as I have called my schools football, girls and boys basketball games, and girls soccer games. My cousin Chrs Allen has a spot lined up for me to get an internship at 41 Action News. I have met and interviewed former proffesional Sportsbroadcasters Gary Bender who was the voice of the Phoenix Suns, Fred White who called KC Royals games, Tom Hedrick who has called 4 superbowls and called many sporting events. I keep intouch with these guys still and have sent my live broadcast games to Gary Bender and Tom Hendrick who have listened to my games and critiqued it. I plan on becoming a sports broadcaster after college and trying work at a major broadcasting company.
